Managing your contacts in elementary is super easy; just open Dexter.

Dexter shows all your contacts on the left. To view one, just click on it. Click on their email address to send them a message. If you want to edit the contact, click the “edit” button in the toolbar. To delete the contact, just click the “delete” button in the toolbar.

If you’d like to add a new contact to Dexter, click the “Create a new contact” button on the left side of the toolbar. Then, just fill in their information. To add a picture, click the icon, then choose a picture. When you’re all done, click “OK.” You can now see the contact in Dexter.

What about all those contacts you’ve collected over the years? Dexter can handle it; just choose “Import...” from the AppMenu. Dexter can import any standard vCard.

Dexter is tightly integrated into elementary; clicking on an email address opens Postler, and an address opens Google Maps. You can also print contacts, burn their information to a disc, or send them via email.
