Why is Midori slow for me on some sites?

After installing OS, I gave Midori a try, I have to admit that it looks awesome, but the problem is that it is so slow, specially when I want to load a website like OMGUbuntu. Scrolling pages becomes a big pain in such situations. I'm wondering why this happens to me while I have no problem with other browsers. This issue made me switch quickly to Chrome, but I still like to switch back to Midori whenever it's bugless enough :)

Ok Let me clarify what i've said before. The problem is not the loading time, In fact Midori loads pages quickly, the problem is page scrolling, it makes me feel like I have a Pentium II system with 16 Megs of RAM!

Midori was horrible for me. Took me a while to load up Google Chrome site and download it. Chrome works pretty nicely on elementary. So that solved one issue for me.

I have the same problem. Midori is too slow to be usable. I'm using Chrome for now. Hopefully Midori gets fixed before Luna arrives. Because by then it's May or June 2012.

Oops, It didn't work for me. But I notice something weird, everytime I run Midori it slowsdown the whole system, and I have to log out/log in to return to normal situation. !!!!
